Well, it’s been a while!
I went to South Carolina this last weekend to help deliver my old car to my brother who is in college there in Greenville (Bob Jones University). A note to all people of the world, at least those with lighter colored skin, driving a convertible with the top down for 10 hrs straight, in the full sun, without sunscreen, is NOT a smart idea. But wait, I did already realize that. I had the roof put down by the Saab techs at the dealership and I wasn’t sure how to get it back up so I just drove it like it was, since I wasn't sure what else to do. The sad part is that my brother and I looked at it after I got there (Greenville) and it took us all of thirty seconds to lift the top back up. Which left me feeling stupid. My face is still pealing.
I’m working as part of a large remodel team completely redoing our local Super Walmart. Last night we rebuilt all the cosmetic gondolas (the whole shelves and supports etc) and transferred the entire make-up, eye liner etc. to the new gondolas before destroying the old ones. The cosmetics (of course) got all mixed up in the transfer and consequently I, as well as a hand full of other employees, got stuck sorting them out and redistributing them on the new shelves. I have to say, I have a new appreciation for women (and I suppose some men =/ ) that wear make-up. I never realized the numbers and varieties of lipstick, eye liner and other make up products. How does one decide what color to use? What brand to use? What foundation to use? What eye liner goes with what lipstick that goes with what outfit? I am at a loss, I admit. So kudos to those people that understand this language of selection and color matching, I have great respect for you and your skills in making the beautiful perhaps more so through these artistic and complicated means. I am glad I do not have to worry about it, I have a hard time caring enough to wear clothes that match even!

Well, for me, it is a complete shot in the dark, not that I expect much improvement anyway.
